Hey Everyone!!!!
Love You!! Elder Meier
Did you know that this mission is the only mission in the U.S. that has a Lao branch??? Crazy right? #churchistrue
This
week was pretty cool! I am just gunna talk about a few things that
happened this week. First about an exchange and a miracle that happened
during the exchange, then also the first ordinance got to do!!!
WOOHOOO!!!!
Well
the first thing, So on Saturday we went on exchanges with theBntwood 3
elders! Elder B went to the other area with Elder V, and I stayed
in the area with Elder T!!! Elder T is seriously sooooo
awesome!!! He is from the Marshall Islands!!! But he speaks English
really well, but that's cuz he has the gift of tongues! Anyway, I just
think that it's so cool how diverse this mission is, their are sooo many
cool people out here that are serving in this mission! People from
Korea, China, Marshall Islands, Romania, England, Germany, Tonga, Samoa
Philippines, Japan! Like you name it and their is someone in this
mission that is from their! It's so friggin cool! So the miracle that
happened during the exchange!!! BOOM! So Friday during weekly plannin'
Elder B and I were going through the Potentials form, and we decided
"Hey! Lets call this guy D--" So we did and he was super open to us
coming over! So Elder T and I go to D--'s house and he is super
tall!!! Like 6'6 or around that height and we just go in and throw down
with the spirit! Elder T shared a powerful testimony and then we
invited him to be baptized and he said YES!!! It was the first time
someone actually said yes to our invitation in the first lesson!
Seriously so cool! He is a really solid guy!!! AHHH so happy!! We
weren't really able to see any other 'gators cuz of school and memorial
day vacations!
Yesterday
I got to confirm A---!!! It was really scary but super cool, I really
felt God's love for A--- when I was giving her that blessing. I think
it really helped me see and understadn the deep love that God has for
all of us, and that when we make good choices he is soooo very happy!!!
To respond to your emails:
Tatum!
I wrote you another letter! I hope you get it soon! I am glad you like
the necklace! I really miss lagoon, the new ride sounds really scary!
You are gunna ride it??? You should wait for me and then we can go on it
together!! How is LAX and harp going??? How's the personal progress
going??
Quinn:
Sorry about the game....But that's cool that you have all these cools
opportunities to go to Philly and stuff. I am jealous that you got to
play rugby your junior year. Mom and Dad had me do track instead! I hope
you are being safe and not messing up your body!!! Wait you are gunna
go to Austria??? FREAK LUCKY YOU!!!! Everything good with the girl you told me about??? She sounds really great.. treaat her good yo
Mom:
HEY! I am starting to try and budget it
more and make some better choices with my spending so I am glad the
account was going up with money. :)
J--
dropped us, N--- is busy with finals and J---- is officially an unknown!
haha So we are trying to help him somehow get out of some the situations
before it's too late! It's sad because he knows he is making wrong
decisions but his excuse is that it's all he knows and that's how he
grew up. But we are praying for him, if you could pray for J--- to I
would love that!
Anyway, all is good. Its hard not to be outside and active in some type of balling! Seriously. I miss playing
sports soooo much! We are going to go bowling as a zone so I'll take some
pics and then send them!!! hopefully after everything I need to do today, is done!
Love You!! Elder Meier
